About the role
Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a RN Specialty Temp Nurse for its Acute Care Center. The position is a contract or time-limited role for a minimum of 13 weeks, with potential extension upon notice. The pay rate is $70.00 per hour with no benefits.
Responsibilities
- Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate the care of cancer patients and families.
- Integrates patient and family centered care and the quality caring factors into practice.
- Identifies, documents, and provides patient education based on learning needs of the patient.
- Participates in Evidence-based improvement activities related to area of practice.
- Participates in professional development based on the nursing professional standards, regulatory requirements, and job expectations.
Requirements
- 2 years of inpatient hospital experience.
- Emergency or Critical Care Experience.
- Telemetry experience.
- Flexibility to work assignments and able to adapt to a changing environment.
- Good time management skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an ACEN or CCNE accredited institution with at least one year of relevant experience.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) from an ACEN or CCNE accredited institution with 2 years of relevant experience.
- Active Florida RN License.
- BLS and ACLS Certification.
