About the role

We provide direct patient care in a specialty unit, adhering to the organization's scope and standards of practice. Our team collaborates across disciplines to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates learning needs of patients and families and provides appropriate education.
• Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, including referrals and support services.
• Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care based on assessments to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Maintains and communicates patient condition as necessary.
• Delegates patient care tasks to support staff effectively.
• Might precept student nurses and new hires.

Requirements

• Accredited Nursing Program
• ACLS, BLS, ONCC Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Certificate (as applicable)
• Registered Nurse License (RN LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL)

Qualifications

• One (1) year of nursing experience required.
