About the role

We provide direct patient care in a specialty unit, adhering to the organization's scope and standards of practice. Our team collaborates across disciplines to ensure comprehensive patient care, including education and support.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care based on assessment.
• Maintains patient monitoring and documentation.
• Communicates patient condition as necessary.
• Collaborates with other healthcare professionals.
• Delegates tasks to support staff.
• May precept student nurses and new hires.

Requirements

• Accredited Nursing Program
• ACLS, BLS certifications
• One year of nursing experience
• Additional certifications may be required based on departmental needs

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse License (RN LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL)
• Compact RN Multistate license (RN LICENSE COMPACT)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required for certain areas
• Pediatric-specific certifications (PALS, NRP) required within 30 days of hire
• Fetal Monitoring certification for L&D RNs
