About the role
Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the nursing care of patients within the OMC Short Stay Unit. Supports and promotes a positive image of professional nursing. Sees patients under a variety of circumstances. Subject to varying and unpredictable situations. May handle emergency or crisis situations.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in the Short Stay Unit.
- Support and promote a positive image of professional nursing.
- Respond to varying and unpredictable patient care situations, including emergencies.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current Washington State RN license.
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).
Qualifications
- One year of experience in a hospital setting (preferred).
Pay
Pay Range: $40.37 - $72.25 per hour
- Evening shift differential: +$3.00/hour
- Night shift differential: +$5.00/hour
- Weekend shift differential: +$4.50/hour
- Standby premium: +$4.00/hour
- Charge premium: +$3.25/hour
- Float premium: +$2.50/hour
- Per Diem: +15% (on rate of pay, in lieu of benefits)
- Certification premium: +$2.00/hour
- Preceptor premium: +$2.00/hour
- San Exam bonus: $500.00
Schedule
- Variable shifts.
- Weekend and holiday shifts available.
- No on-call shifts required.
