RN Shift Supervisor (Overnight)

About the role

The RN Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all nursing activities during their shift, ensuring adherence to state and federal regulations and maintaining high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee nursing activities during the shift.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and facility policies.
• Represent administration in the absence of key nursing staff members.
• Delegated administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability for assigned duties.

Requirements

• A minimum of one year of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN).
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program and actively pursuing an RN license.
• Experience in skilled nursing and knowledge of long-term care federal regulations.

Skills

Strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously are required.
