Our Medical Telemetry Unit Is a 38-bed Unit Focused On Providing a High Level Of Direct And Individualized Care. This Unit Offers You With Ample Learning Opportunities With a full spectrum Of Medical Diagnoses And Comorbidities. Our Medical Telemetry Unit Also Offers Highly engaged team Supportive management team Robust Unit Based Council Flexible scheduling Emphasis on work/life balance. We Have a Varied Medical/telemetry Population Including Sepsis Pulmonary Conditions or Respiratory Distress Chest Pain Infection Patients requiring isolation; including to negative airflow rooms Patients requiring skin and wound care including wound vacs Patients requiring scopes, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, central line placement, paracentesis, angio-cath, pacemaker insertions and chest tubes. Enteral Feeding Tube Insertion and Maintenance Patients requiring Cardiac monitoring GI abnormalities Trach care Genitourinary abnormalities.

Requirements
Graduate of RN School of Nursing ADN required. Must be licensed to practice professional nursing by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners.
- A degree from a recognized nursing program or two years of relevant work experience
- A minimum of (1) one year's experience in the field of nursing
- A valid Registered Nurse license
- The ability to obtain a Basic Life Support certification within the first 30 days of employment
