About the role

Seasonal Part-Time 2 shifts per week. Location: Temple, TX.

Patient population

  • Sepsis
  • Pulmonary conditions or respiratory distress
  • Chest pain
  • Infection patients requiring isolation, including negative airflow rooms
  • Patients requiring skin and wound care including wound vacs
  • Patients requiring scopes, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, central line placement, paracentesis, angio-cath, pacemaker insertions and chest tubes
  • Enteral feeding tube insertion and maintenance
  • Patients requiring cardiac monitoring
  • GI abnormalities
  • Trach care
  • Genitourinary abnormalities

Requirements

  • Graduate of RN School of Nursing, ADN required
  • Must be licensed to practice professional nursing by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners
  • A degree from a recognized nursing program or two years of relevant work experience
  • A minimum of one (1) year's experience in the field of nursing
  • A valid Registered Nurse license
  • The ability to obtain a Basic Life Support certification within the first 30 days of employment
