About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) to provide dedicated 1:1 nursing support to a student in the Brighton, New York area. This is a rewarding opportunity for an RN who enjoys working with children and wants to build a consistent, supportive relationship with a student while providing attentive care throughout the school day.

Responsibilities

• Provide one‑on‑one nursing care to a student during school hours.
• Perform health assessments and monitor the student’s condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid.
• Communicate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers regarding the student’s health needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.

Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York.
• Experience in pediatric or school nursing preferred.
• Strong assessment and clinical skills tailored towards children and adolescents.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle emergencies calmly.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Pay

Starting at $35/hr.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–2:45 PM.
