About the role
We are looking to hire an RN for our Outpatient Float Pool. This position will support various Saint Alphonsus Medical Group Clinics (SAMG) across the Treasure Valley. Schedules will vary based on clinic location and need — examples include 5×8-hour shifts, 4×10-hour shifts, or 3×12-hour shifts per week.
As an RN in the Saint Alphonsus Medical Group, you will provide skilled nursing care in coordination with licensed providers while promoting a positive patient experience with compassion and kindness. You will administer medications, maintain a safe nursing area, and provide education and resources to patients and families based on their needs. RNs are also expected to serve as a mentor to clinical staff, maintain accurate documentation, and preserve confidential information.
Requirements
- Nursing experience in an ambulatory setting preferred.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree from a nursing program accredited by ACEN or CCNE.
- RN license in the state of Idaho issued prior to hire date; multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire.
- Proof of application in process for an Oregon RN license within 90 days of the hire date.
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification from AHA, ARC, or the Military Training Network required at hire.
