RN - Rheumatology

The Ambulatory Nurse provides comprehensive healthcare to individuals, families, and communities within the RN scope of practice, using a systematic approach of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Ensures adherence to established standards of care and accurately documents all patient interactions.Provides health and wellness education to patients and groups.Supports staff development by acting as a preceptor and mentoring healthcare students.Leads initiatives to improve care quality and clinical outcomes.Assists in developing departmental standing orders and manages clinical tasks such as injections, prior authorizations, and medication education.Handles telehealth duties including pain calls, data collection, and telephone triage. Qualifications include an active Illinois RN license, BLS certification, and an Associate's Degree. Key skills involve clinical competence, effective communication, leadership, and adherence to care standards.
