About the Role
As a Rehab Registered Nurse at our facility, you will perform a variety of treatments, procedures, and administer medications. You will join a team dedicated to creating positive patient interactions and caring for the multi-faceted wellness of those we serve.
Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC) is a full-service hospital with 318+ patient beds, serving southeast Idaho, western Wyoming, Yellowstone National Park, and parts of Montana. Our facility includes an ER, a Level II Trauma Center, a Level 1 ICU (one of two in Idaho), the only Burn Center in Idaho, and the region’s only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit for critically ill children. We also operate a 74-bed Behavioral Health Center offering inpatient and outpatient mental health care for adolescents and adults.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct physical and psychosocial care to patients through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation.
- Provide holistic, individualized care appropriate to the age of the patient.
- Act as an advocate for patient safety and oversee compliance with core measures for applicable patients.
- Focus on growth and development in your role while motivating peers and co-workers.
- Educate patients and families about necessary treatments, progress expectations, and discharge instructions.
- Participate in the development and implementation of the plan of care.
- Communicate elements of the nursing process to improve patient outcomes, provide quality intervention, and promote collaboration within the health team.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Associate Degree in Nursing.
- 1+ year of RN experience.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date).
