RN / Registered Nurse - Urology Clinic at UW Medical Center-Montlake

UW Medical Center-Montlake - Urology Clinic has an outstanding opportunity for a Registered Nurse.

About the role

Join an acclaimed outpatient setting and provide life-changing care for urologic oncology patients. This position involves a mix of bedside care and back-office responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with prostate, bladder, and other urologic cancers
• Perform catheter changes, specimen collection, and intravesical treatments in a clinic setting
• Perform port and PICC line blood draws and care
• Assist providers during minimally invasive procedures, including intravesical chemotherapy installations
• Conduct Epic InBasket triage and telephone triage

Requirements

• 2 years of recent oncology, urology, medical-surgical, or ambulatory nursing experience
• BLS certification
• Active licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State

Pay

Pay Range Minimum: $46.97 hourly
Pay Range Maximum: $86.17 hourly
Additional compensation includes:

• BSN (or higher) premium - $1.00/hour
• Certification premium - $1.25/hour
• Overtime pay

Schedule

Full time / 40 hours per week
5x8 shift schedule
Must be available to work Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm
The clinic is closed on weekends and holidays.
