RN Registered Nurse Surgical First Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking an Operating Room First Assistant Registered Nurse. You will provide clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care in a surgical environment.

Requirements

• Licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse or ARNP in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure.
• Completed 2250 hours surgical rotation.
• Current Certified First Assistant (CFA) having completed 350 cases.
• Two years of experience within the last four years.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Current Certification as First Assistant (CFA) or Surgical Assistant-Certified (SA-C) through ABSACritical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited by CAAHEP (Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs) and the State of Florida Surgical Assistant Program, or Medical School Graduate, or Allied Health professional having completed 2250 hours surgical rotation.
