About the role

Assess patient conditions and needs through comprehensive evaluations to develop individualized care plans. Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, ensuring comprehensive and continuous care. Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely according to prescribed protocols. Monitor and evaluate patient progress continuously, adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Document patient care activities meticulously to maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, ensuring comprehensive and continuous care.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely according to prescribed protocols.
• Maintain safe knowledge of equipment, procedures, supplies, computer, IV pumps, NOVA Glucose monitor, I-STAT, Immediate use sterilization policy and procedures.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress continuously, adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Document patient care activities meticulously to maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.

Requirements

• Works independently, self-motivated, takes direction from physician and management to complete assignments.
• Maintain safe knowledge of equipment, procedures, supplies, computer, IV pumps, NOVA Glucose monitor, I-STAT, Immediate use sterilization policy and procedures.
• Must be proficient in English
• Ability to communicate effectively
• A minimum of 1 year of OR experience
• 1+ year surgery experience

Qualifications

• Associate's of Nursing
• Bachelor's of Nursing

• Excellent interpersonal skill set, demonstrating compassion and respect to patients and family undergoing stressful procedures and treatments.
