RN - Registered Nurse Supervisor (Part Time) - Pediatric Clinic

About the role

This RN is salaried and works 8 am to 5 pm, three days a week. Weekends and holidays are typically not required. On-call is required for medication unit temperature alarms, and the supervisor does need to be reachable by phone or digitally when not working.

Responsibilities

• Provides oversight of the daily operations of multiple assigned departments and sites, including staffing and developing/implementing workflows and processes as well as providing input to the leader regarding policies, procedures, systems, and operating budgets.
• Responsible for direct nursing leadership, nursing staff development, patient care, and patient advocacy.
• Supports continuous quality improvement efforts in order to achieve high quality and ongoing progress in all areas of care and service.

Qualifications

• BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing.
• Current RN license with the North Dakota State Board of Nursing upon hire.
• Minnesota RN license required within 3 months of hire.
• AHA Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 3 months of hire.
• 2 years' nursing experience in related specialty, ambulatory setting; or community health with demonstrated leadership ability.
• Must maintain ambulatory RN competency.
