RN, Registered Nurse - Radiology - Casual/PRN

About the Role

The RN Specialist provides care in an atmosphere sensitive to each person's physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs, in accordance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. This role oversees and coordinates nursing care for patients in the Department of Radiology, acting as a liaison between Patient Care Services and Radiology Services.

Responsibilities

• Assess and identify patient needs, implement appropriate interventions, and evaluate and document outcomes.
• Act as a liaison between Patient Care Services and the Department of Radiology.
• Assist physicians and technologists during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Assess and evaluate patient care for an assigned group of patients using evidence-based practice.
• Collaborate with patients and families to develop and implement a comprehensive plan of care.
• Communicate accurately and timely with team members and keep patients/families updated.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with standards, policies, and guidelines.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• A minimum of two years of medical/surgical experience; critical care experience or Radiology RN certification preferred.
