About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Good Samaritan Society – Pohai Nani is responsible for providing individualized nursing care to residents, collaborating with interdisciplinary colleagues, and coordinating care plans.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care.
• Collaborates with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
• Coordinates care across different phases of resident care, including preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Assists in the delegation of tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel, ensuring safe and reliable care.
• Provides support to delegates to address resident care concerns and ensure continuity of care.

Requirements

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (preferred).
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing.
• Maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.

Pay

$38.50 - $57.75 per hour, with a $500.00 sign-on bonus eligible.

Schedule

Varied shifts, PRN weekly hours, and weekend/differential shift options available.
