Registered Nurses (RN) - PRN

About the role

Faulkton Area Medical Center, an independent, non-profit hospital, is seeking experienced PRN Registered Nurses to join their inpatient and emergency care team.

Pay

$40–$50/hour, based on experience

Schedule

PRN/As needed
Variable shifts based on staffing needs (days, nights, weekends, or holidays as needed)

Requirements

- Current SD RN license - Experience required in inpatient and/or emergency nursing - Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS required - Current ENPC preferred - Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting

Qualifications

An independent, non-profit 12-bed Critical Access Hospital and Rural Health Clinic located along SD HWY 212 in Faulkton, SD serving a diverse population of 3,000 within a 60 mile radius. FAMC is one of the few independent hospitals left in the state of South Dakota. We offer a wide range of services to all ages. Our hospital is also designated by the state as a Level V trauma receiving facility.

Skills

Education is very important. Staff must have various life support certifications, which FAMC offers internal instructors to help achieve. The hospital also assists with student loan reimbursement and continuing education expenses.
