Responsibilities
- Independently caring for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
- Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
- Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.
Qualifications
- Certifications and Licensures: BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification, RN (Registered Nurse) license, ACLS Certification (if required by department), Nurse Specialty certification (preferred).
- Education: Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma (required); Bachelors degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Experience: 2 years of RN experience (required); 1 year of RN experience in pre-admission testing (preferred).
- Specific Skills: Interpersonal skills, critical thinking skills, clinical skills appropriate to position.
