About the role
Pediatric Specialty Care (PSC) is a structured, team-supported environment where pediatric nursing is transformational. We care for medically fragile and technology-dependent children who require skilled, compassionate, and highly specialized clinical support. RNs lead care planning, guide families, respond to emergencies, and advocate fiercely for children who rely on us every day.
Responsibilities
- Lead and implement individualized care plans
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments
- Administer medications and advanced therapies (including IV therapy, TPN, and complex treatments)
- Monitor and respond to changes in condition
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and families
- Supervise and mentor LPNs and Nurse Technicians
- Support emergency response and clinical safety
- Ensure regulatory compliance and quality standards
Qualifications
- Credentials as a Registered Nurse with a current state license (PA - Pennsylvania) in good standing
- Valid, current BLS/CPR and First Aid certification
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Training and work experience in a pediatric setting preferred
- Meets the qualifications of a Child Care Supervisor as described in 55 Pa. Code Chapter 3800
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level
Schedule
3–12-hour shifts per week, Monday–Friday, 6:30 am–6:30 pm.
Pay
$36/hr – $51.84/hr
