Role Overview The Center Medical Specialist is responsible for evaluating donor suitability through physical examinations and medical history assessments, building rapport with donors, and ensuring confidentiality. They provide donor education, counseling on test results, and manage injuries or adverse events. The role includes assisting in employee training and administering vaccination programs. Qualifications & Skills Licensed or certified as RN, LPN, VNM, Paramedic, or EMT, with current CPR certification.Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, sitting, bending, twisting, and light lifting (up to 50 lbs).Good vision, hearing, and communication skills.Capable of working independently and adapting to variable demands.Exposure to biological fluids and cold environments requires appropriate PPE. Key Responsibilities Conduct physical exams and medical history reviews.Ensure donor and staff confidentiality and safety.Educate donors on health and test results.Evaluate and manage injuries or adverse events.Assist with employee training and vaccination programs.
