About the role

Delivers care for a group of patients applying the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the healthcare team. Responsible for professional accountability and seeks opportunities to develop. Promotes evidence-based clinical care that exemplifies the pursuit of clinical excellence. Functions as a preceptor or mentor within the department. May function in a charge role as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years RN experience in any setting.
• Licensed RN and completion of all Clinical Nurse requirements.

Qualifications

• Education: Essential: Education equivalent experience: Required Associates - Nursing; Or - Diploma - Nursing; Preferred Bachelors - Nursing.
• Credentials: Essential: Basic Life Support Registered Nurse ACLS Required Credential equivalent experience: BLS (Basic Life Support); Required RN (Registered Nurse); Required ACLS (Cardiovascular) - If required by department; Preferred Nurse Specialty.
• Experience: Essential: Reference Other Information in Summary Facility: BayCare Health System, Surgery-MCH Location: Mease Countryside Status: Full Time, Exempt: No Shift Hours: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM Shift: Shift 1 Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies Weekend Work: Occasional On Call: Yes
