About the role

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as prescribed by physicians
• Provide patient education on medication use and side effects
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and adjust treatments accordingly
• Document patient interactions and progress in medical records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding medication administration

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Virginia
• Experience in medication-assisted treatment preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Valid Virginia driver’s license
• Passing score on a background check

Skills

• Proficiency in electronic health record systems
• Knowledge of pharmacology and medication management
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
