RN - Registered Nurse - IR (PRN)

About the role

The Interventional Radiology, RN assists in the performance of diagnostic and invasive procedures. They independently function during diagnostic and interventions with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Aids in the performance of diagnostic and invasive procedures under the supervision of a physician.
• Assists in the preparation of patients for procedures.
• Monitors patient responses to procedures and reports any adverse reactions to the supervising physician.
• Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Current RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, Electrophysiology, Emergency Department, or Critical Care, or 2 years in Tele/Progressive Care Facility.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Knowledge of interventional radiology techniques and procedures.
