RN Registered Nurse Inpatient Float - Nursing Resources
About the role
The RN inpatient Nurse assesses patient health problems and needs, develops and implements nursing care plans, and maintains medical records. The inpatient Registered Nurse administers nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. The RN may advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention. The inpatient RN will maintain accurate, detailed reports and records and administer medications to patients while monitoring for reactions and side effects. The RN will monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients’ conditions. In addition to Holy Spirit Medical Center, this position may be required to work at Hampden Medical Center.
Requirements
- Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact required.
- BLS required prior to orientation completion.
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in critical care, emergency department, and/or women's and babies preferred
- Minimum one (1) year experience in inpatient (med/surg, telemetry, PCU, or ICU) or emergency department preferred

Pay
$10,000 Sign-On Bonus – eligible to those that qualify
Schedule
- Full Time, 0.90 FTE
- Night shift: 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m., every other weekend
- Night shift differential: $5.00/hour
