RN Inpatient, Float - Critical Care Resource
About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) at Sanford Health is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to patients. They collaborate with other healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate care. This position requires 1 year of critical care experience and involves attending inpatient emergencies, rounding deteriorating patients, assisting with medical device questions, and managing difficult Foley placements.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a resource to patients throughout the medical center by attending inpatient emergencies such as code blues, trauma codes, and rapid responses.
- Round deteriorating patients and assist with nurse consults for medical device questions.
- Assist with difficult Foley placements and round and assist with critical care patients on inpatient units, PACU, and ED.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing.
- Obtains and maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
Qualifications
- 1 year of critical care experience.
Skills

Pay
$32.00 - $48.00 per hour, with a $20,000 sign-on bonus available to eligible candidates.
Schedule
Full time, rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, 36 weekly hours.
