About the Role
Provide direct nursing care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at UAB St. Vincent's St. Clair, following organizational policies and protocols.
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, communicate patient conditions, and document accordingly.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary efforts for comprehensive patient care.
- Execute physician and nursing orders accurately.
- Assess and assist with discharge planning in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Requirements
- Valid licensure as a Registered Nurse from the Alabama Board of Nursing.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
- Current BLS certification within 30 days of hire; ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
Skills
- Ability to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Compliance with certification and licensure requirements.
