Job Summary
Care Options for Kids is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) for pediatric home health care roles. This role offers focused, one-on-one care in the home setting, allowing nurses to build consistent relationships with patients and families.
About the Role
You will care for pediatric patients with high acuity needs, providing dedicated, personalized care in a calm, controlled environment. The role emphasizes autonomy, continuity of care, and the ability to deliver skilled nursing with support from respiratory therapists and 24/7 on-call clinical support.
Responsibilities
- Care for pediatric patients with high acuity needs
- Build consistent relationships with patients and families
- Provide focused, one-on-one care in the home setting
- Use clinical judgment with confidence
- Work in a supportive environment with 24/7 on-call clinical support
- Offer flexible scheduling options to accommodate family needs
Requirements
- Current, active Colorado RN license
- Current BLS CPR card (obtained in-person)
- G-tube, trach, vent experience or willingness to train
- TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QFT)

Pay and Schedule
The position is immediately filling for three days of the week, with night shifts being prioritized. Flexible scheduling is available for day shifts, with specific critical shifts identified for Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Monday, Tuesday, Thursday.
Qualifications
This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and a willingness to adapt to various schedules and patient needs. Nurses must have the ability to work independently and manage their own caseloads effectively.
Skills
Effective communication skills, clinical judgment, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment are essential. Experience with G-tubes, trachs, and ventilators is preferred but not mandatory.
