RN, Registered Nurse, Home Health

Registered Nurse opportunity open now doing visits in clients’ homes in Alexandria, VA and surrounding areas. This is a per diem position. Prior home‑health experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Follow a designated care plan in accordance with the patient’s needs.
• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Perform assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures.
• Monitor clients’ conditions and report changes to the Clinical or Client Services Manager.
• Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
• Perform client assessments as necessary.
• Case management and coordination.
• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations using a state‑of‑the‑art touch‑pad tablet.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia.
• Minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Prior home‑care experience strongly preferred (but not required).
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (transcript or diploma required).
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Solid computer skills; experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
• Ability to travel to assigned cases.

Pay

Base pay, depending upon qualifications: $52.00 – $62.00 per point.

Schedule

Per diem position with flexible schedules, 1:1 care assignments, and a focus on work‑life balance.
