About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) at GSS NE Albion is responsible for providing individualized nursing care to residents, collaborating with inter-disciplinary colleagues, and coordinating care. This position requires a graduate degree in nursing and current RN licensure.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care for residents.
- Collaborates with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
- Coordinates care, conducts resident assessments, educates residents, and performs various nursing interventions.
- Serves as a charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel as appropriate.
- Ensures the safe and reliable administration of resident care and addresses any care or service concerns.
Requirements
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (preferred).
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in the state where the practice of nursing occurs or possesses multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
- Maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.
Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (preferred).
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
- Current RN license with the State Board of Nursing.

Pay
$32.00 - $48.00 per hour, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus available.
Schedule
Varies, with a weekly schedule of 32 hours.
