RN - Registered Nurse - Endoscopy Part-Time (Days)

About the role

This position is located at Morton Plant Hospital North Bay, 6600 Madison Street, New Port Richey, FL 34652. It is a part-time, in-person role with a shift of 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM, and on-call duty is required.

Responsibilities

• Independently care for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
• Delegate appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
• Maintain professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
• Perform the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Nursing or Diploma Nursing required; Bachelor's Nursing preferred
• Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience required; prefer at least 1 year RN experience in Endoscopy, Pre-Op/PACU, Critical Care, or Emergency Service; Procedural RN experience in Pre-Op/PACU preferred; Endoscopy experience strongly preferred
• Certifications & Licensures: BLS (Basic Life Support), RN (Registered Nurse); ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department; Preferred Nurse Specialty
• Specific Skills: Clinical skills appropriate to position; Interpersonal skills

Schedule

• Part-Time: five (5) 10-hour shifts per bi-weekly pay period
• Shift: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Days)
• Weekend Work: Occasional
