Schedule: Day Shift, Four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Rotating on call, weekends and holidays required.

Unit Description

Henry Ford St John Hospital’s Endoscopy Department is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team! We are a fast-paced department that conducts approximately 20-30 procedures per day. Our team consists of Registered Nurses, Endoscopy Technicians, CRNAs, and physicians. In this role, you will rotate between pre-op, procedural, and post-operative responsibilities.

We primarily work the day shift, Monday through Friday, with rotating call on the evenings and weekends. We enjoy flexibility in our scheduling practices, and work as a team to provide coverage.

If you have prior Endoscopy, OR, ICU, or procedural experience, we want to meet you!

Educational/Experience Required

  • BSN preferred.
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Certifications/Licenses Required

  • Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.

Prior Experience Preferred

  • Prior Critical Care nursing experience.
