Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) - per diem, day shift

About the Role

As an RN in Endoscopy, you will lead the Endoscopy patient care team in providing quality patient care. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care from admission to discharge. You will assist the physician with diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures and monitor the physiological status of the patient throughout the pre, intra, and post-procedure periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintain departmental on-call responsibilities during off-shifts, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis.
• Act as a role model to staff members and direct, assign, and supervise ancillary staff team members in providing appropriate care efficiently.
• Manage the team work concept effectively and remain flexible in response to changes.
• Demonstrate a commitment to evidence-based practice and adhere to the philosophy, policies, procedures, and standards of the Nursing Division, Endoscopy Department, and the Hospital.

Requirements

• Endoscopy experience required.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
• Influenza vaccination required as a condition of employment.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $36.93 - $80.96 per hour. This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, and compensation is governed by its terms.
