RN Registered Nurse - Emergency Nursing - Observation Unit
SUMMARY OF POSITION
Incorporates knowledge of the nursing process and the professional standards of nursing in daily practice. Applies knowledge of growth and development to perform detailed assignments/interventions. Provides consistent care based on the changing physical and psychosocial needs, unique to the patient.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S)
- Associate's degree in Nursing
- Minimum one (1) year nursing experience
- Currently licensed to practice as a registered nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the Interstate Nurse Licensure Compact
- AHA BLS prior to end of orientation period
- ACLS required within six (6) months
- PALS required within six (6) months
- ENPC required within twelve (12) months
