Registered Nurse - Observation Unit

About the role

The Clinical Nurse/Registered Nurse works in a collaborative environment at Holy Cross Health within the Observation Unit to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidence-based medicine and individualized patient care. Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to oncology, med/surg, and hospice patients.
• Administer medications, including chemotherapy (if certified), and monitor for side effects.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
• Offer emotional support and education to patients and families.
• Participate in discharge planning, pain management, and palliative care coordination.
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the care team.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program; basic professional nursing
