RN-Registered Nurse-ED Full Time Night

The Emergency Department at Community Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated team. This role offers growth, supportive teamwork, and a culture committed to safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and recognizing subtle clinical changes, using judgment to intervene early and advocate for patients
• Providing safe, evidence-based medications, treatments, and hands-on care grounded in strong clinical judgment
• Serving as a clinical partner to physicians and advanced providers, offering insights that support timely, well-coordinated care decisions
• Providing clear, compassionate education to patients and families, ensuring they feel informed, supported, and prepared for the next phase of care
• Ensuring accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record to promote continuity and patient safety
• Contributing to interdisciplinary rounds, driving seamless communication and smooth transitions of care
• Taking an active role in a highly collaborative team environment where shared accountability directly impacts outcomes

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing
• American Heart Association BLS, ACLS & PALS certification
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
• At least one year current patient care experience in acute care or ED
• Comfort with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC

Pay

$48.29 - $67.04 per hour

Schedule

3 12-hour night shifts/week, 7pm-7:30am
