About the role
Every day, our Registered Nurses deliver a level of excellence and compassionate care to our patients in the ICU at Winter Haven Hospital – Cardiovascular ICU – Winter Haven, Florida.
Responsibilities
- Cares for a group of ICU patients independently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
- Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
- Care for patient needs throughout their recovery in critical care.
- Maintains accurate records of patient vitals and updates the care team on patient assessments.
- Identifies and responds to sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition during emergencies.
- Coordinates and documents appropriate discharge planning and referrals to ensure continuity of care after discharge.
- Ensures a positive patient care experience through high emotional intelligence, simplifying medical terminology and concepts to the patient.
Requirements
- RN (Registered Nurse) License.
- Diploma, Associate’s, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing.
- One-year's RN experience in the ICU in an Acute Care setting.
- BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
- ACLS certification with the American Heart Association.

Pay
Negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
6:45 PM - 7:15 AM every other weekend.
