Key Responsibilities

  • Screens potential study participants through the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
  • Facilitates the informed consent process
  • Collaborates with Principal Investigators to coordinate research protocol procedures and activities
  • Manages biosample processing and shipment to central laboratories
  • Maintains accurate research data entry
  • Serves as a liaison between clinical trial sponsors and the research team
  • Ensures coordination with regulatory requirements to support successful study execution

Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (R.N.) license
  • Two years clinical research experience or experience related to clinical area in which research study is based
  • Previous relevant experience working in a clinical research setting
  • Thorough knowledge of nursing and healthcare
  • Excellent organizational and task management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient and study information
  • Knowledge of medical and clinical terminology
  • Excellent human relations, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to conduct computer-based literature searches

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Master’s Degree or advanced certificate degrees preferred
  • Regulatory knowledge regarding the conduct of clinical research or health care operations preferred

This position operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional weekend rotation as needed.
