Key Responsibilities
- Screens potential study participants through the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
- Facilitates the informed consent process
- Collaborates with Principal Investigators to coordinate research protocol procedures and activities
- Manages biosample processing and shipment to central laboratories
- Maintains accurate research data entry
- Serves as a liaison between clinical trial sponsors and the research team
- Ensures coordination with regulatory requirements to support successful study execution
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (R.N.) license
- Two years clinical research experience or experience related to clinical area in which research study is based
- Previous relevant experience working in a clinical research setting
- Thorough knowledge of nursing and healthcare
- Excellent organizational and task management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient and study information
- Knowledge of medical and clinical terminology
- Excellent human relations, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to conduct computer-based literature searches
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Master’s Degree or advanced certificate degrees preferred
- Regulatory knowledge regarding the conduct of clinical research or health care operations preferred

Schedule
This position operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional weekend rotation as needed.
