Registered Nurse - Senior Clinical Research Specialist

About the role

The Center for Biobehavioral Research at Sanford Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their team. This full-time position is based at the Amber Valley building with occasional remote work opportunities after initial orientation. Key responsibilities include assisting research study participants, data collection, scheduling, screening, and lab draws.

Responsibilities

• Assist research study participants

• Facilitate clinical research services for patients
• Coordinate study required training and procedures
• Manage study data and ensure compliance with protocols
• Collaborate with physician investigators for safe and compliant investigational treatments
• Oversee and ensure high quality clinical research conduct and study operations
• Maintain compliance with organizational policies and regulations
• Develop and oversee department staff development and annual education programs
• Monitor and report on enrollment goals
• Delegating work to the team to ensure workload and performance
• Lead and motivate others to improve work processes

Requirements

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
• At least 1 year of clinical research experience
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license
• Obtains and maintains required department specific competencies and certifications (SoCRA or ACRP)

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred (e.g., CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA)
• At least 1 year of clinical research experience
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possesses multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
• Obtains and maintains required department specific competencies and certifications (SoCRA or ACRP) within 1 year of taking the position
