About the Role

Per-diem Registered Nurse position in the Childbirth Center and Labor and Delivery unit at UW Medical Center – Northwest.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the labor and delivery process
  • Administer medications, including epidurals
  • Support breastfeeding initiation for mother and baby
  • Provide couplet care for mother and baby

Requirements

  • Two or more years as a Labor and Delivery Nurse
  • Active or eligible RN license to practice in Washington state
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing

Pay

  • Pay Range Minimum: $46.97 hourly
  • Pay Range Maximum: $86.17 hourly
  • BSN or Higher premium: $1.00/hr
  • Certification premium: $1.25/hr
  • Night shift differential: $5.00/hr
  • Weekend shift differential: $4.00/hr; Sunday Night premium: $3.00/hr
