Job Description

The Birth Center at Anna Jaques Hospital is a 12 bed, LDRP unit serving Newburyport and the surrounding Merrimack Valley. We offer private patient rooms with state of the art technology, working closely with all disciplines and including our relationship with Beth Israel Lahey Health. We have 24/7 obstetrics and anesthesia coverage with a nursing staff of 45. We are a Baby Friendly Designated hospital with a strong focus on patient experience.

Requirements

OB experience strongly preferred. Current Massachusetts Nursing Licensure required, with BSN prepared nurses preferred. Current BLS and NRP required within six-weeks of hire.

Qualifications

Education Required: Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Licenses, Registrations, Certifications Required: State of Massachusetts RN licensure (or eligibility) BLS Certification NRP Experience: 2 years of LDRP experience strongly preferred Licenses, Registrations, Certifications Preferred: BSN Per diem status: Candidates able to provide level 2-3 commitment will be preferred.

Pay

This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. The pay range for this position is established and governed by the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Employees hired into this position will receive compensation consistent with the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
