RN - Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab

About the role

The Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse serves as a member of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Services Team assisting in the performance of diagnostic and invasive procedures. Independently functions during diagnostic and interventions with minimal supervision. Provides critical nursing care to include administration of moderate sedation, monitoring for complications, and preparation for interventional procedures. Provide nursing care to Emergency patients having during interventional procedure. Monitor and record procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provides critical nursing care to include administration of moderate sedation, monitoring for complications, and preparation for interventional procedures.
• Provide nursing care to Emergency patients having during interventional procedure.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
• Monitor and record procedures.

Requirements

• 1 year of Cath Lab, IR, ICU or ER RN experience
• Associate's Degree in Nursing
• Active Florida RN or Multistate RN License
• Active BLS & ACLS certifications (accepted from American Heart Association only)

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include:

• 1 year of Cath Lab, IR, ICU or ER RN experience
• Associate's Degree in Nursing
• Active Florida RN or Multistate RN License
• Active BLS & ACLS certifications (accepted from American Heart Association only)
