RN Registered Nurse
About the role
We are affiliated with Life Care Centers of America, a 47-year industry leader with over 200 locations across the U.S. We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient needs through ongoing assessment
- Revise care plans based on changes in the patient’s condition
- Provide clinical supervision to Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)
- Implement and interpret departmental programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures
- Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
- Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
- Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
Requirements
- Nursing diploma (associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing)
- Currently licensed/registered in applicable State
- Maintain an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing throughout employment
- One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation
- CPR certification must remain current during employment
Qualifications
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Skills
Strong communication and critical thinking skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
