Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers high quality direct and indirect patient care by applying sound nursing practices and clinical judgment. This role requires competency in meeting the behavioral, developmental, and psychosocial needs of the patients we serve. As part of a collaborative care team — including providers, nurses, and support staff, the RN is committed to our guiding philosophy of Patients First.
Education, Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Completion of a recognized course of study from an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
Length And Type Of Experience
One year of related nursing experience, preferred.
Required Licensure Or Certification
- Must be currently licensed to practice in the state of Ohio.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP certification are required within the first year of the appropriate unit.
Required Physical And Environmental Demands
- Full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients
- Manual and finger dexterity along with hand-eye coordination
- Occasionally, lifts and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range
- Working under stressful conditions and irregular hours
- Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids
