Position Details
Location: BayCare Trinity Surgery Center, 2020 Trinity Oaks Blvd, Trinity, FL 34655
Status: PRN, As-Needed
Shift: Variable
On Call: No
Responsibilities
- RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
- RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
- RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
- RN also performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned
- For this position, we prefer at least two years of acute care experience with at least 1 year RN experience in the Operating Room
- This position will be focused on circulating Ambulatory surgery cases and procedures in the Endoscopy suite
Requirements
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- RN (Registered Nurse)
- ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department
Qualifications
- Preferred Nurse Specialty Education: Associate's Nursing or Diploma Nursing
- PREFERRED Bachelor's Nursing Experience
- Required 1 year acute care experience or 1 year interventional / procedural experience or 6 months RN acute care or interventional / procedural experience with prior LPN experience and completed competency assessment
- PREFERRED Experience includes 1 year Interventional/Perioperative Internship
