RN Registered Nurse - Afternoons 3p-11:30p

About the Role

Join our skilled nursing team at Four Chaplains Nursing Care Center, a Bronze National Quality award winner. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide specialized care to patients in orthopedics, cardiac, respiratory, oncology, palliative care, infections, neurology, and dermatology. You will be empowered to assess needs and implement care using the latest technology as part of a strong interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the nursing team, including direction, assignments, training, and evaluations.
• Conduct regular rounds with patients and staff to monitor performance and care.
• Instruct the team on the skilled care process and serve as a clinical resource.
• Ensure completion of reports (e.g., infection control, pharmacy compliance, quality management).
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with patients, families, and visitors.
• Foster a positive, healthy environment for healing and thriving through encouragement and support.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Michigan.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Nursing.
• High level of analytical abilities to prepare care plans and implement effective nursing care.

Pay

• Base wage: $34.15 per hour.
• Hero/Hazard Pay: $3.40 per hour (total starting rate: $38.55 per hour).
• Shift premium: $1.00 per hour for 2nd and 3rd shifts.
• Yearly wage increases.

Schedule

• Part-time, all shifts available (rotating weekends and some holidays).
• Afternoons: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM.
