About the Role

A Registered Nurse in the Regional Float Pool assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates individualized care for adult and geriatric patients using nursing standards and theoretical concepts. This full-time position involves floating to various facilities within a designated region, offering flexibility and diverse clinical experiences.

Responsibilities

• Float to various units including Med/Surg, Telemetry, Stepdown, and ICU.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality patient care.
• Maintain compliance with licensure, certifications, and physical demands.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in the state or applicable compact.
• Minimum of 1 year recent bedside RN experience for Med/Surg; 2 years for specialty units.
• Certifications: BLS required; ACLS for critical care.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and assist patients.
