About the role

As a RN Radiology PRN, your voice to influence patient care is valued and empowered at every turn – whether through open, collaborative relationships with your direct manager or more formal opportunities through hospital councils and national nursing initiatives. You'll help shape decisions that elevate both patient outcomes and the future of nursing.

Schedule

• Shifts: 8:00–16:30 or 7:00–15:30
• Approximately 3 shifts per week (give or take a day)
• Call only as needed to cover vacations
• 9 hours per day, no nights

Responsibilities

• Assist with radiology procedures in cooperation with the physician and other radiology personnel, in accordance with departmental policy and procedure manual and the Radiologist’s request
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient data
• Perform continual patient assessments
• Administer proper conscious sedation when needed

Qualifications

• Knowledge of radiology operations
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to interact with patients, physicians, and personnel in a pleasant, positive, and courteous manner
• Current broad knowledge of assessment, treatment, and care techniques and principles relevant to growth and development of neonate/infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients

Requirements

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) – must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Associate Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
