About the Role
Provides direct patient care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing care standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on illness management, and ensures safety and regulatory compliance. Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and communicate individualized care plans, addressing physical, psychosocial, emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs.
Responsibilities
- Educates patients and families on post-treatment care and medication management.
- Participates in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and professional development activities.
- Uses critical nursing skills for comprehensive patient assessment and evaluation.
- Maintains communication across the care continuum to ensure seamless patient care.
- Works in a safety-sensitive environment, demonstrating alertness and safe practices at all times.
Requirements
- Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree; Bachelor’s preferred.
- Licenses: Current RN license.
- Experience: No experience required; less than 2 years preferred.
