About the Role

The RN Quality Coordinator supports Mission Hospital's Women's and Children's Services, leading and facilitating the development of quality initiatives. This role involves collaborating with medical and hospital staff, analyzing data, and improving processes using evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in and lead committees and teams, working with team members on timely action plans to improve quality outcomes.

Requirements

  • Graduate of accredited school of nursing, BSN required (if RN, effective 3/1/18: BSN OR enroll in a BSN or advanced degree program within 6 months AND obtain a BSN within 4 years of hire date; previous signed BSN commitment letter or grandfathering accepted between departments and Mission Health entities; exemptions may be approved with CNO System Council approval).
  • Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing (eNLC license may apply; confirm with NCBON).
  • National Nursing Certification in area of specialty.
  • CPHQ (must be obtained within two years of position acceptance/hire date).
  • 5 years of clinical nurse experience.

  • Master's in Nursing.
